Original 1930's French Art Deco dining suite in a classic Jacques Emile Ruhlmann "U" base furniture design of exotic and highly desirable East Indian Rosewood, also known as Palisander, Bombay Rosewood, or Bombay Blackwood, which is an endangered wood in today's world. Ruhlmann furniture design incorporates a striking blonde sycamore contrast banding around the Palisander dining table's apron and on the china cabinet. China cabinet features a beautiful blonde sycamore lined interior in the storage area behind the two doors below the china display area.

Spectacular classic and timeless design that is a very functional size for today's modern homes, townhomes and condominiums. Dining table easily seats 8 for those special dinner parties and gatherings.

Ensuite pieces include Palisander dining table with one leaf, matching china cabinet and six original matching dining chairs. Additional dining chairs can be custom produced by Deco-Dence to complete seating to accommodate eight with two host and hostess chairs of a similar design (original chairs are not shown in these images ... please e-mail with request for photos). Additionally, another leaf can be custom made to expand seating to accommodate ten guests if desired; please inquire.

Table (with leaf) - 79 1/2" long x 39 1/2" wide x 29 1/2" tall
Leaf - 19 3/4" long x 39 1/2" wide
China - 41 1/2" wide x 16 1/2" deep x 61" tall
Chair - 19" wide x 19 1/2" deep x 34 3/4" tall

Exceptional and original French Art Deco dining suite in a Jacques Emile Ruhlmann Art Deco design that has been exceptionally hand stripped and refinished to the highest standards possible. Refinished in Deco-Dence's acclaimed and exclusive finish that is TOTALLY water and alcohol impervious.

Now who else does such incredible work and uses some of the most expensive finishing products on the market to provide total ease of mind for you??

The design of this Ruhlmann inspired suite is also very conducive to use in an office situation with the dining table functioning as a conference table, the china cabinet as a bookcase and the matching original seating around the "conference table".

Please inquire for additional details and pricing for this one-of-a-kind and spectacular suite refinished to the most exacting standards possible.

Chairs: 16" deep x 17 1/2" wide x 36" tall
China display/buffet: 20 1/4" deep x 69 1/4" wide x 37 1/4" tall (to flat surface and 57 1/4" tall to top of mirrored china display) HOLD

The dining table and chairs are made of an incredible and rare Brazilian Rosewood with all surfaces to the buffet (except the fronts) also Brazilian Rosewood. The door fronts on the buffet are made of Dutch Elm Burl with mahogany fluting on the center sections. The hardware is all original and is made of a beautiful pale green bakelite with polished nickel. The seating area on the chairs is the original elephant hide. Elephant hide has been banned from commercial use for many years and is literally irreplaceable. The suite dates to circa 1935 and is from Milan, Italy. The suite is a fantastic example of the modern or futurist designs coming out of Europe in the mid-30's that are still so contemporary looking even today. The suite has been restored.
