Art Deco barware. "Konga" shaker. Very
rare, Machine Age cocktail shaker known as the "Konga" shaker.
Made of aluminum with exciting red Bakelite handles. The design
of the shaker is to hold it by the Bakelite handles and "roll"
the shaker instead of shaking it. The handles rotate, thereby
allowing the shaker to spin. Height is 11 1/4". Circa 1930's.

shaker. Produced by The Monarch Aluminum Company. Glass lined
with chrome outer casing, the "jigger" cap molded of Bakelite is
threaded to assure a liquid-tight seal, strainer and top cover

shaker. An American Art Deco classic! The always so elegant
penguin shaker by Napier, from 1936. 12" high, 4 1/4" in
diameter. In silverplate, with 48-oz. capacity. The beak opens
to reveal rubber stopper and pourer. Advertised in December 1936
in the "New York Times" by Abercrombie & Fitch for $12.50.
Marked with the Napier mark. One infinitesimally small ding,
